- I have been married for over 12 years to a wonderful man. I have 2 adult Sons,ages 24 and 28, and 2 Beautiful Grand Children. My youngest son was diagnosed with Aspergers at age 12 after years of being mis-diagnosed. Life with Matt has been a challenge, yet through it all I have learned much and grown in ways I never would have,if not for him. Matt has taught me compassion for those who struggle, Patience, unconditional Love and so much more. Through my addictions and Recovery I have gone through deep pain and unhappiness to self knowledge and a sense of Peace(most of the time). I struggled with bouts of depression, many times severe, from the age of 3 until perhaps the past 3 years. I am so grateful and at times in awe that the depression of so many years has been lifted from me in recent years. It has been an ongoing process and as I am a Work in Progress I will continue Day by Day on this Amazing Journey called Life; striving for Progress, not Perfection.
